About the Position:

This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

The primary role of this position will be managing the large number of requests received via the University workforce management system, STABLE. He/she/they will coordinate efforts with departments across campus to ensure individual and guest needs are being met. The position will also assist with managing accounts payable and accounts receivable and do monthly reporting and reconciliation for the office.

This position interacts with students, faculty, staff, and campus guests to provide and process information in response to inquiries and concerns for all services offered by the Parking and ID Card Services office. They will be expected to cross train across all areas within parking and transportation office.

Essential Functions:
  • The primary role of this position will be managing the large number of requests received via the University workforce management system, STABLE. He/she/they will coordinate efforts with departments across campus to ensure individual and guest needs are being met.

  • Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. This includes P.O.s, journal entries, event scheduling and invoicing and other Concur transactions. Monthly reporting and reconciliation.
  • Assist with day-to-day Parking Office clerical and customer service duties, including phone calls and email inquiries. Back up the Front Counter for all services: permit sales, ID cards, questions on permits, citations, payments, Boots/Tows, DART questions etc. Respond to calls, voicemails and emails coming in to direct and departmental phone lines and email daily before end of business.
  • Other duties as assigned, including cross training across all areas within the parking and transportation operations.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidate with bachelor's degree is preferred.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidate with working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook is desired. Candidate with knowledge of Peoplesoft, T2 Flex Parking Management, eTicketbook software, Genetec LPR software and hardware and Sitecore is highly preferred. Previous experience with processing data in an integrated workplace management system, such as Planon or Archibus desired. Knowledge of systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP and Sitecore a plus.

Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.

Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
