Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions to serve as coaches for students in the Specialist degree in Educational Leadership in the Department of Educational Leadership for the academic year (2023-24). These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Educational Coaching for candidates in the Ed.S. in Educational Leadership. Coaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications
  • A master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Educational Leadership or a related discipline is required.
  • 7 years of experience as a building-level administrator in a K-12 school commensurate with the respective program (MEd - Assistant Principal, EdS - Principal)
  • Required degree must be earned by start date.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in curriculum leadership, policy analysis, instructional supervision, educational law, operational management of schools, or school/community relations
  • Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
  • Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
  • Record of past teaching at the graduate level
  • Experience in P-20 Education related to the courses you may teach
