Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in the School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development for the academic year 2023-2024. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the following at a minimum:

Teaching graduate courses in conflict management

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in conflict management or a related discipline

A master's degree or Juris Doctor, or the foreign equivalent, AND at least 7 years of practical experience in the field of conflict management

Preferred Qualifications

Registered Mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution
Experience as a conflict management practitioner

Background Check

Per the University System of Georgia background check policy, all final candidates will be required to consent to a criminal background investigation.
