Position Summary:
The Weed Science Post-Doctoral Associate will provide support for the weed science program in conducting herbicide resistance surveying and screenings, as well as research on weed management practices for row crop and forage production systems in southern Idaho.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. degree in weed science, crop science, agronomy, or plant science

Experience with professional writing and presentations.
Experience with computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience conducting herbicide resistance surveying and screening
Experience with small plot field research, experimental design, data collection and analysis
Proficiency in using R or similar analytical statistics software
Proficiency in using ARM trial management software

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in warm and humid conditions for prolonged periods
Ability to lift and carry, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive motions for up to one hour while standing or seated at lab bench
