Job Summary:

The CU College of Nursing is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Recruitment Program Manager. This position will recruit new students to CU Nursing's undergraduate and graduate academic programs under the supervision of the Director of Admissions and Student Affairs. The position manages recruitment strategies and plans to increase prospective inquiries, completed applications, and student enrollments, allowing the school to meet its enrollment and revenue goals. This position would also support and maintain positive relationships with college and university departments involved in recruiting and admissions, with other CU schools and colleges, and with external institutions such as community colleges, universities, hospital administrators, alumni, employers, and other prospective student pipelines.

This position will require occasional travel and/or attendance at evening and/or weekend events. This position may supervise student employees and/or part-time employees depending on need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • In partnership with supervisor and CU Nursing stakeholders, assist in the development of strategic recruitment plans for each of the CU Nursing's undergraduate and graduate programs, with a view to increasing enrollment, quality of applicant pool, and student diversity.
  • Manage and execute recruitment plans to reach enrollment targets for each program and academic term.
  • Develop and manage regular distribution of reports to CU Nursing Leadership on the status of recruitment efforts; assess all outreach activities for effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Meet with prospective students in person, online, and by telephone to provide overview of programs and to answer questions.
  • Manage processes related to student prospect database, including adding notes about interactions with prospects, uploading required documents into students' applications, etc.
  • Develop and run queries as needed to identify students' positions in enrollment funnel and develop tactics to encourage prospective students further through the funnel.
  • Regularly engage with university offices and organizations to build awareness of and pipeline into CU Nursing programs.
  • Work with vested parties to develop compelling messaging and materials for use in student recruitment, including e-communications, print materials, social media campaigns, and website content.
  • Engage with CU Nursing's academic program directors and faculty to develop program-specific content for prospective students (e.g., letters to students, post-cards, emails, etc.).
  • Develop, schedule, and deliver a year-long series of prospective student informational webinars/in-person events.
  • Coordinate hiring, training, supervision of the STAT Team who provide prospective student tours.
  • Coordinate large group tours.
  • Work with other CU Nursing staff members engaged in outreach to develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders that may benefit recruitment efforts and other school priorities.
  • Serve on internal teams and committees relevant to the position.
  • Represent the CU Nursing on relevant university committees as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least four (4) years of experience with direct responsibility for student recruitment, marketing, communications, and/or admissions/student affairs.

Substitution:

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis, but not for the specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using applicant tracking system (ATS) and/or customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Substitution:
  • Experience with Slate, CRMs, and Peoplesoft, or directly related software.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary ranges for this position at 1.0 FTE have been established as $61,830 to $78,649.

The above salary ranges represent the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
