Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Vandal Health Clinic standards. This role includes evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment and revising care plans based on changes in the patient's condition. On a daily basis this position will provide clinical support for one provider & student doctor and supervision for up to two Medical Assistants. The Registered Nurse will report directly to the Nurse Practitioner.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Nursing

Communicating technical concepts to general audiences or patients

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) AND/OR Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Knowledgeable and use of Electronic Health/Medical Records
Experience working or knowledge of the HIPAA of 1996 and FERPA, pertaining to the release of protected health information
Using computer software and applications for word processing, email, internet searches and data organization
