Student Assistant for Kinesiology

Position Summary
The Student Assistant for Kinesiology assists the Director and Faculty with administrative needs.

This is a student position open to current UIW students.

Essential Functions
Essential functions include:
-Assist faculty/staff with administrative tasks, social media & program support;
-Run errands on the Broadway campus as needed;
-Assist, greet and answer questions from students and visitors;
-Assist with programs, events, and projects within the Health Professions department (ex: end of semester graduation ceremony);
-Maintain professionalism and adhere to a business professional dress code;
-Perform other duties as assigned

-Excellent communication and customer service skills;
-Detail oriented;
-Ability to communicate, written and verbally
-Professional telephone etiquette;
-Ability to exercise confidentiality when communicating with employees and students;
-Ability to work in a team environment;
-Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures;
-Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA

Required Education
Current UIW student

Required Work Experience
No previous work experience required.

Preferred Qualifications
-Professional verbal and written communication skills;
-Multi-tasking capabilities;
-Ability to work in a flexible work environment with numerous programs and activities occurring simultaneously;
-Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
-Basic computer and internet knowledge

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations


Work Hours
Based on class schedule; Monday through Friday.
